As per an order issued here today by the district administration Samba & Kathua, all the educational institutions viz government and private schools shall re-open with effect from 9th of August 2019 to function as usual. The schools and colleges will remain closed in Jammu across all seven districts including Jammu, Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar,Ramban, Rajouri and Poonch.

Menwhile, Jammu University to remain closed tomorrow. All examinations scheduled for August 10 & 11, 2019 also stands potsponed. According to a statement issued by JU POSTPONES UG/PG Examinations to be held on 9th& 10th August 2019. "This is for the information of all concerned that University of Jammu shall remain closed on 9th August 2019.The University has also postponed all UG and PG examinations to be held on 9th & 10th August 2019( Friday). New Schedule for holding various examinations shall be notified separately".
